Graduation Speech College Of Health Sciences - 997 Words
An intense passion overwhelms my body and mind when I find myself thinking of my graduation holding my college degree for a picture and thanking my professors. This vision empowers me to thrive in school and conquer any challenges that may hinder my path to success. However, I am cognizant that many students have envisioned the same goal, yet have fallen short in the attempt because the discipline of dealing with college life as well as keeping up with a regular life in society is overwhelming. Nevertheless, my distinction between other students is that I consider graduating from college as a duty in my life, for I have experienced enough sufferings due to the absence of the word college in my parentââ¬â¢s vocabulary. I am committed to fulfilling my ambitions of becoming the first college graduate in my family, and my academic achievements serve as proof of the solid path of my journey. For this clarity of vision about my future, I am a good candidate for admission into Coleman Co llege of Health Sciences. I have seen and felt the struggles of my parents, and after graduating from high school, I decided to alleviate my fatherââ¬â¢s burden and help cover a portion of the expenses of the house, even if that meant temporally suspending my education. My dreams of attending college appeared to fade away as weeks and months expired and I remained in the same work environment.
